About Cuttack

Cuttack is a very ancient city of Orissa in India. It is reported to have been named by a chinese traveller. It is a major economic hub. A city worth seeing it lies near Bhubaneswar,puri and Konark. It is more than ,one thousand years old, and was the old capital of Orissa,before Bhubaneswar was made the capital city. It has the nine storeyed palace of mukundadeva, the then king. Modern Cuttack houses Barabati stadium,an important venue for international cricket matches.
